Bio
Recruited from Williamstown in the VFA, Ron Page was a solidly built utility who earned a brief opportunity at the elite level during a difficult period for South Melbourne. Joining a Swans outfit that would ultimately claim the wooden spoon in 1971, Page brought premiership experience from the VFA's second division and was tested in three senior matches, managing to boot a goal during his short stint at the Lakeside Oval. While he could not cement a long-term spot in the VFL, he remained a respected figure at his original club Williamstown and later served as a coach for Williamstown United in the suburban leagues.
