Bio
Recruited from the VFA's Brunswick, Roy Hearn was a capable forward who made a brief but productive impact for Fitzroy during the 1931 season. Arriving at the Brunswick Street Oval with senior experience from the Association, he proved to be a dangerous option near goal, averaging better than a major per game during his short stint in the VFL. Despite his ability to find the scoreboard, Hearn’s time at the top level was limited to just eight appearances before he eventually departed the club, returning to the VFA where he continued his football journey with Brunswick and later Preston.
