Bio
A local Queensland product recruited from Mayne in the QAFL, Rudi Frigo was a key position prospect who entered the Brisbane Bears system as a zone concession selection in the early 1990s. Standing 195cm, he was capable of holding down a key post or providing relief in the ruck, though he spent several seasons developing in the reserves before earning his senior opportunity. He finally broke into the senior side midway through the 1994 season, playing seven games that year as the Bears began their climb from the bottom of the ladder. Despite his heavy frame and utility value as a tall, he added just one more appearance in 1995 before being delisted. Frigo subsequently moved to South Australia to continue his football career with Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL.
