Bio
Recruited from North Albury in the Ovens & Murray Football League, Rudy Yonson was a crafty small forward who made a brief but efficient cameo for the Swans in 1985. Standing at 176cm, he made an immediate impact on debut against Hawthorn at Princes Park, booting two goals in a heavy defeat. He held his spot for the following two weeks, adding another major against Collingwood at the SCG, but his VFL career concluded after just three senior appearances. Yonson eventually returned to the O&M where he cemented his status as a stalwart for the Hoppers, later becoming a prominent figure in the Albury region's real estate industry.
