Stats
Bio
Rupe Bradley was a local product from the Fitzroy Juniors who found his VFL opportunities limited by the immense strength of the era's two dominant clubs. He began his senior career at Carlton under the "Reformer" Jack Worrall, showing immediate promise as a goal-kicking option by booting four goals in his four games for the Blues. Despite this handy conversion rate, Bradley struggled to secure a permanent place in a Carlton lineup that was rapidly building toward its historic premiership hat-trick. Seeking greater opportunity, he crossed to Fitzroy for the 1906 season, effectively returning to his home district. However, he found the Maroons' squad—fresh off a premiership and destined for another Grand Final appearance that year—equally difficult to crack. Bradley ultimately finished his brief career as a fringe forward who was squeezed out of two of the league's most formidable lists.
