Bio
Selected by Fremantle with pick 10 in the 2003 National Draft, Ryley Dunn arrived at the club with significant expectations as a standout junior from the Murray Bushrangers. Intended to develop into a tough, skillful midfielder or half-back, his career was almost immediately derailed by a persistent string of injuries, including recurring hamstring and knee issues, which severely restricted his ability to train and play. Consequently, he struggled to translate his WAFL form into senior opportunities, managing only eight appearances across five seasons while spending long periods in rehabilitation. Unable to overcome these physical setbacks to secure a place in the Dockers' best 22, he was delisted at the end of 2008, widely regarded as a talented prospect whose career was cruelled by injury before it truly began.
