Bio
Recruited from Port Fairy in the Hampden Football League, Scott Crow was selected by Hawthorn with pick 44 in the 1990 National Draft but had to wait until 1993 to make his senior debut. A utility capable of playing on the ball or across half-back, Crow struggled to cement a regular spot in the Hawks' lineup, managing just 13 games over three seasons before being traded to Collingwood alongside Alex McDonald ahead of the 1996 season. The move to Victoria Park revitalised his career; he played every game in his first year with the Magpies, surprisingly leading the club in marks despite standing just 179cm. Crow became a consistent contributor known for his strong overhead ability and work rate in the packs, though a contract dispute nearly saw him depart prior to the 1998 season. He eventually fell out of favour in 1999, managing only five senior appearances before being delisted.
