Bio
Recruited from West Adelaide in the SANFL, Seth Parry was a diminutive but sharp rover who embarked on a unique cross-continental football journey during the 1930s. After cutting his teeth in South Australia, he arrived at Fitzroy just prior to the 1933 season, earning a debut in Round 1 against North Melbourne as the Maroons looked to inject speed into their midfield. Despite his ability to find the goals, Parry found it difficult to secure a regular place in the Victorian lineup, playing five games in the first half of the year before departing the club. His football story extended far beyond his brief VFL cameo, however, as he eventually moved to the WANFL where he became a premiership player and leading goalkicker with East Perth, ultimately holding the rare distinction of playing senior football in South Australia, Victoria, and Western Australia.
