Stats
Bio
Recruited from the Western Jets with pick 34 in the 1994 National Draft, Shawn Lewfatt was a diminutive rover and small forward who found opportunities scarce within a star-studded Essendon squad. Standing at just 170cm, he relied on pace and crumbing ability, making his debut in 1995 and managing to snag a couple of goals in his limited exposure to senior football. However, he struggled to break into a midfield and forward rotation that featured established premiership stars and emerging talent, restricting him to just three career games. Unable to cement a spot in Kevin Sheedy's side during a period of list transition, Lewfatt was delisted at the conclusion of the 1996 season.
