Bio
Born Thomas Alfred Edgar Douglas, the forward better known as "Sonny" was a brief contributor to Fitzroy during one of the club's most successful eras. Recruited from Albert Park, he joined the Maroons in the 1905 season, a year that would ultimately see the club claim the premiership over Collingwood. Breaking into such a formidable lineup proved difficult, and Douglas managed only two senior appearances, kicking a solitary goal during his short stint at Brunswick Street. His time at the club coincided with a period of immense depth for the Roys, meaning he was unable to secure a permanent spot in the side alongside legends like Barclay Bailes and Percy Trotter. While he missed out on selection for the Grand Final victory, his presence on the list places him on the periphery of a historic championship campaign.
