Bio
Recruited from the Western Jets with pick 25 in the 2012 National Draft, Spencer White was a tall, athletic left-footed forward whose physical attributes drew early, lofty comparisons to Lance Franklin. He spent his initial season developing in the VFL before breaking into the senior side late in 2014, where he made an immediate impact by booting three goals on debut against Richmond at the MCG. Despite that promising start, White struggled to secure a regular spot in the best 22 or maintain consistency at the elite level, managing just one further game to finish with a career total of four goals. St Kilda delisted him at the conclusion of the 2015 season, leaving him as a tantalising prospect who could not quite bridge the gap to regular AFL football.
