Bio
Recruited from East Perth in the WAFL, Stephen Edgar joined Carlton via pick 12 in the 1990 Pre-Season Draft as a mature-age prospect. A utility player capable of rotating through the midfield, he found opportunities limited within a competitive Blues lineup, managing just eight senior appearances across two seasons before being delisted. After spending the 1992 season out of the AFL system, Edgar was handed a lifeline by St Kilda in the 1993 Pre-Season Draft, where he added a further six games to his tally as a depth option before his top-level career concluded.
