Bio
Recruited from Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula, Stephen Jolley was a tall utility who briefly featured for Hawthorn as the club prepared for its golden era of the 1970s. Standing 188cm, he arrived at Glenferrie Oval as a promising key position prospect capable of playing at either end of the ground. He broke into the senior side for two matches in the middle of the 1970 season, but struggled to retain his place in a formidable lineup that was rapidly evolving under John Kennedy Sr. With the Hawks' key position stocks already boasting future Hall of Famers like Kelvin Moore and Peter Knights, Jolley was unable to cement a regular spot and departed the VFL landscape after a single season.
