Recruited as a mature-age rookie from Labrador, Stephen Wrigley earned his spot on the Brisbane Lions' list after a stellar 2010 season in the QAFL where he won the Grogan Medal. A rebounding defender known for his endurance and ability to carry the ball, he offered the Lions ready-made depth during a transitional period for the club. Wrigley was elevated to the senior list in 2012 and played his three career games late in the season, tasked with using his running power to generate drive from the backline.
