Stats
Bio
Recruited from South Fremantle with the fifth overall selection in the 1991 National Draft, Steven McLuckie arrived at the Brisbane Bears with high expectations as a skilled wingman and flanker. He broke into the senior side during the 1992 season, making 13 appearances and showing glimpses of the talent that warranted his early selection, but he found it difficult to maintain consistent form at the elite level. McLuckie added just seven games to his tally in 1993 and, unable to cement a permanent spot in a developing Bears midfield, was delisted at the conclusion of that season, marking a premature end to his AFL career given his high draft pedigree.
