Stats
Bio
Recruited from Old Melburnians in the VAFA, Stuart Griffiths spent the 1988 season on Melbourne's list without cracking the senior side before crossing to Richmond via the 1989 Pre-season Draft. A lively rover and wingman with a nose for goal, he made a promising first impression for the Tigers, gathering 20 disposals and kicking three goals on debut against Footscray at the MCG. However, Griffiths struggled to replicate that early form consistently, missing the entire 1990 senior season and fighting for opportunities on the wing over his final two years. He was delisted at the end of 1992, eventually returning to Old Melburnians where he became a premiership player.
