Stats
Bio
Recruited from McKinnon in the Federal Football League, Stuart Lennie was a diminutive rover who burst onto the VFL scene with a spectacular debut for St Kilda in 1955. In the opening round of the season against North Melbourne at the Junction Oval, he booted five goals to help the Saints secure a comfortable victory, immediately establishing himself as a dangerous option near goal. However, Lennie was unable to sustain this prolific form, managing just seven more goals across his next nine consecutive appearances. His influence waned as the season progressed, and after playing the first ten matches of the year, he lost his place in the senior side and did not feature at VFL level again.
