Stats
Bio
Recruited from neighbouring Preston, Bill Stevens was a productive forward who provided a brief but bright spark for North Melbourne during the club's formative VFL years. Making his debut as a teenager in the middle of the 1927 season, he immediately displayed a natural eye for the big sticks, averaging two goals per game in a team that largely struggled to score. His standout moment came when he booted a bag of six goals in a single match, a significant haul for a young player in a losing side. Despite this promising start, Stevens' time at Arden Street was short-lived, with his career concluding after just six senior games.
