Bio
Recruited from the Wimmera town of Kaniva, Ted Feder earned a brief trial with Geelong during the middle of the 1921 season. He made his debut in a comfortable win over St Kilda at Corio Oval and played his only other senior game the following week against Carlton at Princes Park, failing to register a goal in either appearance. Unable to secure a permanent place in the League side, Feder became a notable figure in a local turf war the following season when he crossed over to the Geelong Association team in the VFA. His transfer was part of a broader recruitment drive by the rival standalone club, which signed several former VFL players in an attempt to challenge the senior body's dominance in the region during the early 1920s.
