Stats
Bio
Recruited from VFA club Prahran, Edward "Ted" Trim was a tall forward who played two seasons for Footscray in the mid-1930s. Born in Seymour, he stood 185cm—a significant height for a key position player of that era—and operated primarily inside the forward 50 where he could utilize his marking ability. He proved to be a consistent scoreboard contributor when given the opportunity, averaging exactly one goal per game across his tenure, but he found it difficult to cement a permanent spot in the senior lineup against established attackers. After struggling to break out as a dominant force, his VFL career concluded at the end of the 1935 season after just 17 games.
