Bio
Recruited from Coburg in the VFA, Terry Boyle was one of many players whose League careers were brief but significant during the war-torn 1942 season. A small forward or flanker standing at 173cm, he managed two senior appearances for Hawthorn as clubs scrambled to fill lists depleted by military enlistments. His time at the top level was effectively cut short by his own service in World War II, preventing him from building on his initial taste of VFL football. Following the conflict, Boyle returned to the VFA to play for Coburg before eventually continuing his football journey in the country leagues with Benalla.
