Stats
Bio
Recruited from local club Spotswood, Terry Love was a nippy small forward and rover who broke into the Footscray senior side as an 18-year-old. Standing at 175cm, he relied on agility and goal sense to make an impact, most notably booting four goals in a breakout performance against Carlton during his debut season. Despite that glimpse of potential, Love struggled to cement a permanent spot in the Bulldogs' best 22, finding himself on the fringe of selection during his time at the Western Oval. After concluding his VFL tenure, he transitioned to country football with great success, joining Daylesford where he established himself as a premier midfielder and shared the Ballarat Football League’s prestigious Henderson Medal in 1985.
