Bio
Originally from Nuriootpa in the Barossa Valley, Terry Moore was a versatile tall who joined North Melbourne from SANFL club Central District after a contentious clearance dispute saw him sit out the entire 1975 season. He made an immediate impact upon his 1976 debut, holding down centre half-forward in the Kangaroos' Grand Final loss to Hawthorn that year. Despite being a regular fixture during the 1977 season, playing 16 games, Moore ultimately missed selection for North's historic Premiership side. He later crossed to Hawthorn in 1979 for a two-year stint, where he became inadvertently immortalised as the player Michael Roach soared over to take his iconic "mark of the century" at the MCG.
