Teams

Recruited from Port Fairy in Victoria's south-west, Terry Morrissey was a versatile midfielder capable of playing on the wing, in the centre, or as a rover. Standing 175cm, he arrived at Punt Road for the 1964 season and earned his senior debut in Round 5 against St Kilda, eventually making five appearances and kicking two goals in the yellow and black. Unable to cement a permanent spot in the starting lineup during his single year of VFL football, he transferred to South Warrnambool the following season, where he forged a successful local career in the Hampden Football League. Morrissey later played for Nhill before retiring to Warrnambool, where he remained involved in the local sporting community as the owner of a sports store.
