Bio
Recruited from Lincoln Stars, Terry Mountain was a tall key position prospect who served a significant apprenticeship at Melbourne during the club's golden era. He played over 100 games in the seconds and thirds across nearly six seasons before finally breaking into the senior side late in 1957. Despite earning his debut for the eventual premiers, Mountain could not secure a place in the finals side and was delisted at season's end. He joined Geelong in 1958 after a pre-season trial with North Melbourne, adding two final VFL appearances to his tally before transferring to Camberwell in the VFA.
