Bio
Recruited from West Preston, Terry O'Mara was a sturdy utility who arrived at Fitzroy during one of the club's most challenging eras. Standing 185cm and weighing 86kg, he possessed the size to hold down key posts, primarily operating in defence or offering support in the ruck. O'Mara managed 20 games over three seasons, toiling away in a Lions lineup that claimed back-to-back wooden spoons in 1963 and 1964, including the club's infamous winless '64 campaign. Despite the lack of team success and the instability surrounding the club's tenure at the Brunswick Street Oval, he remained a competitive physical presence in the back half until his departure after the 1965 season.
