Bio
A local product from University High, Terry Rodgers arrived at Windy Hill with significant expectations after breaking John Coleman's school goalkicking record. The sharp-shooting half-forward established himself in the senior side during the Bombers' dominant 1962 season, playing a crucial role in the Second Semi-Final victory. However, Rodgers is best remembered for the heartbreaking conclusion to that campaign, where a leg injury sustained at training ruled him out of the Grand Final, denying him a premiership place in the triumphant side. He played sporadically over the next two years before departing the VFL to captain-coach Alexandra in 1965.
