Bio
Recruited from local club Newtown, Tim Colley was a powerfully built big man who offered a physical presence in the Geelong forward line and ruck division during the early 1970s. Standing 189cm and weighing nearly 100kg, he possessed the raw size to compete at VFL level, serving as a key position utility who could provide relief in the ruck or present a target in attack. He broke into the senior side in 1970, managing a handful of appearances as he battled for opportunities in a lineup that still featured the legendary Graham "Polly" Farmer. Despite his imposing frame, Colley struggled to secure a permanent spot in the Cats' best 22, playing six games over two seasons before departing the VFL scene.
