Bio
Recruited from the Southern Stingrays with pick 37 in the 1997 National Draft, Tim Elliott was a traditional ruckman who provided depth for St Kilda during a transitional period for the club. Making his debut in 1998, he served primarily as a support option to Peter Everitt, often shouldering the ruck duties to allow the All-Australian big man to drift forward. While Elliott was a serviceable tap ruckman, he struggled to exert significant influence around the ground or impact the scoreboard, limiting his ability to demand selection as a sole ruck. He played 46 games over four seasons but was ultimately delisted at the conclusion of the 2001 season as the Saints looked to restructure their playing list.
