Bio
Recruited from Port Adelaide, Tim Evans arrived at Geelong as a promising key position prospect and debuted in the opening round of the 1971 season. During his four-year tenure at Kardinia Park, he established himself as a durable contributor, missing very few games between 1972 and 1974 while often playing further up the ground at centre half-forward rather than deep in attack. Despite showing flashes of talent across his 59 appearances, Evans never fully settled into a dominant role at VFL level, kicking a modest 26 goals. He returned to South Australia following the 1974 season, where his Geelong stint would ultimately become a footnote to a legendary SANFL career that saw him transform into the state's most prolific full-forward.
