Bio
Hailing from Subiaco in the WAFL, Tim Gepp arrived at Richmond as a mature-age recruit in 1983 to bolster the Tigers' defensive stocks. A disciplinarian back pocket and half-back flanker known for his close-checking style and reliability, he became a regular fixture in the Richmond lineup during a transitional period for the club following their dominant era. After three seasons at Punt Road, Gepp crossed to the Western Bulldogs (then Footscray) for the 1986 season, where he added valuable experience to the backline before concluding his VFL career. While his playing tenure in Victoria was moderate in length, Gepp later established a significant legacy off the field, becoming a highly respected assistant coach and serving a long tenure with the West Coast Eagles.
