Teams

Recruited from the North Ballarat Rebels with pick 43 in the 2006 National Draft, Tim Houlihan was an endurance specialist who arrived at West Coast immediately following their premiership triumph. A lightly-framed outside runner renowned for his elite aerobic capacity, he spent his first two seasons developing in the WAFL before making his debut in Round 5, 2009. Houlihan offered the Eagles link-up play on the wing and half-back, utilising his running power to find space, though his slender build often made contested situations difficult. He played all 15 of his career games across the 2009 and 2010 seasons but struggled to secure a permanent position in the 22. After failing to make a senior appearance throughout 2011 due to injury and form, he was delisted at the conclusion of the season.
