Teams

Recruited from the Box Hill Mustangs in the 1992 Mid-Season Draft, Tim Livingstone was a left-footed utility who made a brief but diligent impact at Punt Road. While he managed only eight senior games, he found his niche as a defensive stopper, notably holding Adelaide captain Chris McDermott to account in a tagging role, and proved his ball-winning ability by claiming the club's Reserves Best and Fairest in 1993. Despite that individual success, he was delisted at season's end and returned to the VFA where he became a representative star and Frank Johnson Medallist. However, Livingstone's greatest contribution to the Tigers came decades later off the field; returning to the club as an administrator, he rose to become the General Manager of Football Performance, playing a critical executive role in constructing and maintaining the high-performance environment that delivered the club's triple-premiership dynasty under Damien Hardwick.
