Bio
A Geelong native, Tim McKeegan commenced his VFL career with a brief stint at South Melbourne, making two appearances in the 1900 season before returning to his home town. He joined the Pivotonians in 1901 and quickly established himself in the club’s defensive rotation during a successful period for the side. McKeegan played the bulk of his career during Geelong's dominant 1901 campaign, featuring in 11 matches for the minor premiers, including the semi-final loss to Collingwood. A backman who never hit the scoreboard in his 15 league matches, he struggled to retain his spot in the senior lineup the following year and drifted out of the VFL after the 1902 season.
