Bio
Recruited as a mature-age prospect from the Casey Scorpions via the 2011 Rookie Draft, Tim Mohr became a foundational pillar in Greater Western Sydney's inaugural defence. Originally from Tasmania, the key backman was tasked with locking down the competition's most imposing forwards during the Giants' challenging early seasons, establishing himself as a courageous spoiler who finished seventh in the club's 2012 best and fairest count. Despite playing 34 games in his first two years, his career was subsequently derailed by significant setbacks, including two knee reconstructions that saw him fall down the pecking order as the Giants' list depth improved. After being delisted at the end of 2018, Mohr joined Hawthorn as a free agent to provide experienced defensive cover, but his luck did not turn; a severe dislocation injury sustained in the VFL effectively ended his tenure, restricting him to just two games in brown and gold before his retirement.
