Bio
Recruited from the Dandenong Stingrays with pick 26 in the 2011 National Draft, Todd Elton was a towering key forward and relief ruckman viewed as a long-term prospect for the Tigers. His seven seasons at Punt Road were largely defined by persistent injury setbacks and an inability to dislodge established talls like Jack Riewoldt and Ty Vickery from the senior side. Although he possessed strong hands and contested marking ability, Elton struggled to find continuity at AFL level, often showing promise in the VFL without consistently translating that form to the main stage. He managed a career-best run of games early in Richmond's 2017 premiership campaign but was eventually squeezed out of the lineup and delisted at the conclusion of the season.
