Bio
Recruited from Claremont, Todd Ridley began his AFL career with Essendon where he operated as a fringe tall forward in a strong lineup, managing 25 games over four seasons. He returned to his home state in 1995 to join the inaugural Fremantle squad, where he immediately etched his name into club folklore by kicking the Dockers' first-ever goal in their debut match against Richmond at the MCG. Although he offered a reliable marking presence, Ridley could not establish a long-term tenure in the west and concluded his career with a brief three-game stint at Hawthorn in 1997.
