Bio
Recruited from local club Chilwell, Tom Brady earned his opportunity at the highest level when Geelong re-entered the VFL competition in 1917 after the club had sat out the previous season due to the Great War. He joined the side during a tumultuous era where team lists were heavily impacted by military enlistments, quickly establishing himself as a capable forward option who could be relied upon to hit the scoreboard. Brady proved to be a handy contributor in front of the big sticks, averaging almost a goal a game during his three-season stint at Corio Oval. He remained with the Pivotonians until the end of the 1919 season, helping the club stabilise its playing stocks during the difficult wartime period before concluding his senior career.
