Bio
Recruited from Footscray Tech Old Boys, Tom Crouch was a local product who earned his opportunity with the Bulldogs at the start of the 1936 season. A lightly built forward standing 180cm, he made his senior debut in Round 1 against Geelong at the Western Oval, managing to hit the scoreboard with a goal in his first appearance. Crouch added a second major against South Melbourne two weeks later while wearing the number 25 guernsey, but he found it difficult to cement a permanent spot in the lineup. His VFL career was ultimately brief, comprising just four matches in the opening six rounds of the year before he finished his time at the top level.
