Bio
Recruited from North Melbourne in the VFA, Tom Hardiman was a productive forward who made an immediate impact upon arriving at Geelong in 1907. He quickly established himself as a reliable avenue to goal, topping the club's goalkicking list in his debut season with 30 majors. A dangerous option near the big sticks who averaged well over a goal a game, Hardiman played every match in his first year but saw his output slightly reduced the following season. After just two years and 31 games with the Pivotonians, he returned to the VFA to rejoin North Melbourne, concluding a brief but effective VFL career characterized by a high scoring strike rate.
