Bio
A mature-age recruit plucked from country football obscurity, Tom Hutchesson was selected by Greater Western Sydney with pick 65 in the 2019 National Draft after impressing for Millicent and the Adelaide Crows' SANFL side. A pacy small forward capable of pushing into the midfield, he was recruited to add line-breaking speed and defensive pressure to the Giants' forward half. Hutchesson made his sole senior appearance against Fremantle in Round 14, 2020 during the hub-based season in Perth, but his debut was cut short by a hamstring injury. He battled further injury setbacks and was unable to break back into the Giants' lineup in 2021, leading to his delisting after two seasons on the list.
