Stats
Bio
Recruited from the Geelong Post and Telegraph Football Club, Tom Tucker was a defender who found it difficult to crack a formidable Collingwood lineup during the early 1930s. A back pocket specialist who also played with Newtown, he spent the bulk of his tenure at Victoria Park developing in the reserves, where he managed 33 games between 1931 and 1933. His senior VFL opportunities were ultimately limited to just two appearances during the 1932 season—wins over Fitzroy and North Melbourne—as he served primarily as a depth player in the wake of the Magpies' famous four-peat era. Despite his brief taste of senior football, Tucker was unable to cement a permanent spot in the side and departed the club without adding further to his tally.
