Bio
Recruited via the NSW Scholarship program from the Campbelltown Blues, Tom Young began his AFL career as a medium defender with Collingwood. Despite showing promise as an interceptor and a rebounding option, he struggled to cement a regular spot in the Magpies' formidable lineup, managing just nine games over two seasons. In search of greater senior opportunities, Young was traded to the Western Bulldogs at the end of 2012. He featured more regularly at the Kennel, playing 19 games across two seasons as a versatile defensive utility, but could not secure a long-term position in the side and was delisted following the 2014 season.
