Stats
Bio
Recruited from Port Rovers, Tommy Jackson was a diminutive footballer who made a brief contribution to St Kilda during a significant turning point for the club. Standing just 169cm, the lightweight rover struggled to command a regular spot in the senior lineup, featuring in only 11 games across two seasons. Despite his limited individual output, Jackson was part of the squad during the historic 1907 campaign, which saw the Saints rise from the bottom of the ladder to secure their first-ever finals appearance. He is perhaps best remembered as the trailblazing older brother of Jim Jackson, a sturdy utility who later forged a distinguished career as captain-coach of Hawthorn.
