Stats
Bio
A diminutive rover standing just 163cm, Tommy Laskey was a mature-age recruit who earned a brief opportunity with Fitzroy during the 1937 season. Originally from Abbotsford, he built his reputation in the VFA with Camberwell and later Brunswick before receiving his clearance to the Maroons in May 1937 at the age of 24. He made his debut in Round 3 against St Kilda, playing as a small forward and follower who relied on agility to compensate for his lack of height. Laskey managed two goals across four senior appearances in the middle of the season but could not secure a permanent place in the side, with his VFL career amounting to a fleeting cameo before he departed the league.
