Teams

Recruited from Shepparton in the Goulburn Valley, Tommy Law was a half-forward and wingman who made a fleeting appearance for South Melbourne during the 1922 season. He was one of six debutants selected for the club's opening round clash against Melbourne at the Lake Oval, joining a refreshed lineup attempting to lift the Southerners up the ladder. Law retained his place for a hard-fought win over Collingwood at Victoria Park the following week, but it marked the end of his short tenure at the highest level. After just two senior games and a single goal, he departed the VFL to continue his football in the country, obtaining a clearance to play for Bendigo East in 1923.
