Bio
Recruited from North Melbourne in the VFA following a stint with Fremantle in the West Australian Football Association, Tommy O'Day arrived at Princes Park for the 1898 season. He played his solitary VFL campaign as a goal-kicking follower and holds a unique place in the club's history books for topping the Blues' goalkicking list with the lowest tally on record, securing the honour with just eight majors during a lean year for the side. O'Day made 13 senior appearances in Navy Blue before departing the league, and he tragically passed away from heart failure in 1905 at the age of 31.
