Stats
Bio
Recruited from VFA club Oakleigh, Tony Richardson was a diminutive footballer who played a brief role for St Kilda in the immediate post-war years. Standing just 169cm, he was built for the roving division or the forward pocket, managing to hit the scoreboard with five goals from his limited opportunities at senior level. He broke into the side in 1947 and added a handful of games the following season, but found it difficult to cement a permanent spot in the lineup. His VFL journey concluded after the 1948 season, leaving him as one of the many players to have a short but distinct stint at the highest level during the era.
