Bio
Recruited from Lockhart in the Riverina—a prolific recruiting zone for the club—Trevor Carrodus arrived at the Lakeside Oval as a promising teenage talent. Standing 188cm, Carrodus was a tall forward option who made his senior debut for South Melbourne in 1971. While he showed he could find the goals, averaging a goal a game across his brief tenure, he struggled to cement a regular spot in the senior lineup during a challenging period for the Bloods. His VFL career was ultimately short-lived, restricted to just three games over two seasons before he departed the league at the end of 1972.
