Bio
Recruited from the Port Melbourne Fourths, Trevor Castlehow was a local product who earned a brief run of senior football with South Melbourne as a teenager. Standing just 173cm, the 18-year-old broke into the lineup late in the 1962 season and held his spot for five consecutive matches, gaining experience in a side that finished in the bottom three. Unable to secure a long-term position on the list, he eventually returned to his junior roots in the VFA, where he played senior football for the Port Melbourne Borough in the mid-1960s. Castlehow remained a respected figure within the local football community until his passing in 2008.
